Join us for a narrated presentation on Harsens Island and the St. Clair Flats, Michigan with topics ranging from the geological history of the Great Lakes to life on the island today. Additional topics include the shipping channel, the history of island resorts, the DNR wildlife area, Tashmoo Park and the Steamer Tashmoo. This oft-requested class has been reinstated due to popular demand-made possible by the availability of newly qualified presenter Robert Williams.

About the Presenter: Robert Williams has been a resident of Berkley, Michigan for 77 years and a summer resident on Harsens Island at Historic Stewart Farm since 1999. Graduating from the University of Michigan in 1970 and registered as an architect for over 50 years, he currently manages his own firm. He is a founding member of the Harsens Island St. Clair Flats Historical Society and is highly knowledgeable on the topic.
